In the Sanctuary of Knowledge: Six Gems for the Seeker of Letters
My beloved brother..
You who have opened your heart to the radiance of the letter and knocked at the doors of knowledge hoping to attain its eternal pearls; know that knowledge is a precious treasure that is not attained by the idle, nor is it grasped through wishful thinking or ease. Rather, it is a difficult ascent that can only be climbed via the ladders of determination and the gardens of patience.
The wise have inscribed upon the page of time the constitution of acquisition in six pillars that a student cannot do without, as if they were lights guiding the traveler through the darkness of ignorance:
Intelligence: An ardent spark that catches the hint and perceives the goal without idle talk or prolixity.
A strong desire: The panting of a soul that never satiates from sipping at the spring of wisdom, and a passion that never tires of seeking more.
Hard work: Diligent labor that melts the night of laziness into the day of earnestness and honorable sweat.
Sufficient means: Material sustenance that upholds one's strength and covers one's needs, freeing the mind for contemplation and reflection.
The guidance of a teacher: A wise mentor who shortens distances with his guidance and imprints the proofs of experience and certainty in the breast.
A long period of time: A lifetime spent in patience and perseverance, for majestic trees do not reach the heights of the sky overnight.
Whoever desires success in this noble pursuit must equip themselves with this blessed gear, for pearls are only reaped by those who dive deep into the oceans, patient and reckoning their reward.
