### A True Story...
It is said that the people of a village had a well from which they drew water.
However, whenever they lowered a bucket into the well, the rope would come back up without the bucket!
This happened repeatedly, becoming a source of great trouble since no one knew the cause, to the point where they began saying the well was inhabited by jinn.
They discussed among themselves that they needed someone from the village to descend into the well and bring back the truth, but most refused out of fear of what might happen to them.
Finally, one man volunteered for the task—to be tied with a rope and lowered into the well. But he made one condition: his own brother had to be present and hold the rope along with the villagers!
The villagers were surprised by his request, as they were a large and strong group fully capable of handling the rope. They tried to persuade him otherwise, to no avail, and his brother was not present at the time.
The villagers agreed to his condition, brought his brother to hold the rope with them, and the man descended into the dark depths to uncover the truth. Inside, he found a monkey unfastening the bucket every time it was lowered. He placed the monkey on his head without calling out to explain, and shouted to them: *"Pull the rope!"*
As he drew near the mouth of the well, the villagers saw a strange creature emerging. Thinking it was a demon, they dropped the rope and fled in terror! No one remained holding the rope except his brother, who clung to it tightly out of fear for his brother's life.
The man safely emerged from the well, and everyone realized that Allah had made his brother the cause of his survival; had it not been for him, the man would have fallen to his death inside the well.

### Wisdom & Moral
Allah Almighty says: **"We will strengthen your arm through your brother..."** *(Qur'an 28:35)*
Among all relatives, Allah specifically chose the brother to "strengthen the arm." Therefore, avoid anything that creates tension in your relationship with him, for you will never find anyone in this world who reinforces your strength quite like your brother.
And in another verse, regarding Moses's mother: **"And she said to his sister, 'Follow him...'"** *(Qur'an 28:11)*
No one will check on you, search for you, and ensure your safety quite like your sister. Be sure to cherish her affection, for you will never find anyone who watches over your well-being like her.
Hold fast to your brothers and sisters and take care of them, for after one's parents, there is nothing more precious than siblings.
Do not be deceived by the large crowds around you—in times of true hardship, you will find no one standing by you like your brothers and sisters.
