Haven of Purity and the Etiquette of Conduct

A servant’s righteousness and spiritual well-being center upon their tongue and gaze. Whoever lets their tongue roam free without the remembrance of God hardens their heart—and what is harsher than a heart oblivious to its Master? For in remembrance lies the very life of hearts, while turning away brings spiritual emptiness and drought.

It is the mark of complete intellect and noble etiquette to occupy oneself with one's own shortcomings rather than those of others. We are not lords to hold creation accountable, but servants hoping for mercy and fearing retribution. Mankind rests between affliction, which calls for compassion, and well-being, which demands gratitude. Therefore, show mercy to those afflicted that you may be shown mercy, give thanks to the Bestower that your blessings may abound, and know that compassion toward creation is the path to the mercy of the Creator.
