Inspired by a brief conversation:

Some hearts want to understand everything before they can find peace, yet life teaches us that many things only become clear after we have passed through them.

How often do people stand for a long time before circumstances they cannot change, exhausting themselves trying to understand every detail of their pain, as though worry could alter reality or endless thinking could reopen a door that time has already closed.

Yet with the passing of the years, we learn that peace does not always come from having all the answers. Rather, it comes from trusting that the Lord knows what we do not know, sees what we cannot see, and guides our lives with a wisdom that may only become apparent in time.

That is why the words of Jesus Christ are filled with hope:

“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”

This does not mean we should stop working or abandon our sense of responsibility. It means we should not burden our shoulders with more than we are meant to carry.

Especially in times of hardship, we need to remember that the Lord has not abandoned us. Even when the path seems unclear today, it may lead us tomorrow to blessings we never imagined.

And how often, with the benefit of hindsight, do we discover that some closed doors were acts of mercy, that certain delays were forms of protection, and that some trials became the very means through which we gained maturity and strength.

Jesus Christ also said:

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God.”

What a beautiful truth to hold on to when life becomes difficult: to do all that we can, then place what lies beyond our ability into the hands of the Lord, and continue forward with quiet hope and sincere trust.

For the Lord does not forget His servants. He is never unaware of their pain, and no sincere tear nor heartfelt prayer from a burdened soul is ever lost before Him.

Relief may be closer than we think, yet it sometimes arrives at the time the Lord knows is best for us, rather than the time we would choose for ourselves.

So do not lose hope, and do not let the storm convince you that the light has gone out. A merciful Hand is still guiding all things, opening doors beyond anything we could have expected, and working in ways we may not yet understand.
